Michael's Story
Moved to Center Moriches from Maryland in 1957, lived on Main Street above the Ace Drug store. Left C. Moriches to go live with relatives in Berlin, MD in 1963. Came back to C.Moriches for senior year 64-65. Joined the Army, went to Viet Nam in 65. Married while in the service to Joyce Taylor from Ocean City, MD in 1967. e in 1975. Lost Mike due to an accident in 97. he had a daugther, Sydney, 6 months old at the time, now almost 15. Brie has 2 kids, son Kyle 12 and daughter Kelsey 9. Worked for Delmarva Power (Indian River Plant) for 25 years, then elected 4 times to IBEW Local Union President for 12 years until retiring in 2006. Enjoying retirment, hunting fishing, travelling and time with the grandkids.
