Michael's Story
Life
I put it off as long as possible, but I recently had to marry the woman that calms my doubts, gives me purpose, and warms my heart daily. We both lead busy lives in Saint Louis. When we are not battling through the rat race, we spend our spare time either working on our home, spending time with friends and family, or wondering through the city trying to take in all that it has to offer. Apparently Saint Louis is the most dangerous city in the nation. I'm not so naive, I still walk cautiously with a keen eye, but I just don't see it.
College
I love my job, but I work way too many hou...Expand for more
rs. Over 500 hours of overtime some years. It's good for a buck or two, but not for a healthy life. I'm taking college classes when I can in order to become an online professor. I have a Masters of Art in Teaching Technology and Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems. I hope to finish my Masters and PhD in business management/economics soon so I can retire from this hectic life and then, ideally, inspire students from some far off tropical beach.
Workplace
Department of Transportation, Professional Engineer managing multi-million dollar projects and getting peanuts in return.
