My name is Mike England, I was born and raised (but never quite grew up) in Newport, Mi just outside of Monroe. I was the local paperboy in my neighborhood for many years and attended Jefferson School Systems (K-8). I had a rough time in my younger days and I ended up moving to Norwood, Oh in the summer of 1986......my formal education ended in the fall of that same year (long story). I returned to Monroe Mi in 1988 and have moved around the general area many times since then. I got married in 1989 and am still married today. My wife and I have 3 children (all boys and all are grown now). I ended up finishing my high school education through Bedford High School in 1991, the real thing, not a GED. Later, I enrolled at Monroe County Community College and did 3 years there part time; leaving with a 3.79 GPA, Dean's List, honor student, and member of Phi Theda Kapa. I work for Ford Motor Co. and have been there since 1996. I use to own My-Key's Lock Shop, Safe Sales & Service and worked as a Locksmith/Safe Tech. during the day and at Ford at night but closed the lock business down in 2006. I still maintain an interest in locks and still collect antique/vintage padlocks, keys, and handcuffs (Houdini era mostly). As you may have guessed from my photos, I am a scuba diver and that is my life for the most part these days.
