Since High School, WoW! I've been an Optician for 36 years working for The Optical Shop of Aspen for 15 years, spending over 10 years in Aspen then moving to the San Francisco area to work for 5 years. During that time, I found myself getting back into Volkswagens and became the Vice-Pres of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America, even did the newsletter for 7 years and played President for one year for the national club. During that time, we printed and sent out over 1700 newsletters each month worldwide. After coming back to K.C., I started getting back into the Civil War and joined the local Civil War Round Table which was started by Harry S. Truman and his dentist back in the 1950's. I have done the newsletter for it for over 7 years now. I collect bass guitars which I played in High School as some of you may remember in a group called the Gross National Product along with Andy Thomas who died this last January and Neal Passman who I am trying to find at this time.
