Life My Spouse I met Veronica Connolly (St Dominic's HS Class of '66) in my Freshman year. She transferred in during her Sophmore year. We were good friends for 2 1/2 years before I realized she was more than a friend. We have been married since Sept 1972. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. My Pets Jake was a yellow labador. He died in Dec 2005. We had him since 1992. He was a good friend. Mr.(Thomas)Gray is a gray tom cat we got from a friend who found him abandoned when he was a kitten. Our friend couldn't keep him, so we did. He was independent and a good cat but left us in 2007. My Kids Teryl is 47. She had Cancer when she was 3 and lost a kidney to it. It was a miracle she survived. It impacted us all. She graduated from Padua Academy in '95 and struck out on her own. She did well in the business world but began to realize college was a necessity. She graduated West Chester University with a BS in Business (Magna cum laude). When she lived in San Diego, she met and married Master Sgt Chris Padgett on Feb 16th, 2008. Chris continued in the military serving 5 deployments 2 in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan 1 in Kosovo until October 2019 when he retired as a Sargent Major at Fort in El Paso, TX as an instructor for the Sargent Major Academy. He was awarded the Legion of Merit medal for his distinguished service (the only ribboned award other than the medal of honor); He now lives in Clifton Virginia with my daughter Teryl and his 2 children Aviara 13, and John-Michael 8. Teryl got a double Masters at George Mason University in 2023 and now works at a Clinic to train Behavioral therapists for Autistic children & young adults.
