Michael's Story
Workplace
After getting out of the Air Force in 1979 (honorable), I worked for a small S&L in So. Cal. as a repo man. After 12 years I worked my way up to consumer loan manager. I began with World Savings in 1991 in So. California and have moved several times in the job. Ft. Worth Tx in '94, Seattle in '95 and San Antonio in 2000, where I was Group Vice President in Portfolio Retention of a $125 billion Fortune 500 company.

Now l live in Charlotte NC as a Sr VP with Wachovia, which merged with World in 2006.
Military
Served in the USAF from 1972 to 1979 as an Avionics Specialist, also served TDY as a graphic artist and illustrator for training films. Served in Souteast Asia (Thailand) from 1973-1974 as a Sgt. in Avionics on several airframes, including F-105 Wild Weasles, F-4 C,D,E, A-7 D, EB-66, C-141, C-130 A,H, gunships and UH1P Helicopters.
