e to be an attorney or CPA. I headed down to Sacramento with a map of all the CPA firms looking for a job. One CPA told me to go back to school and take 4 additional accounting classes that I needed to qualify to take the CPA exam. I took those 4 classes in one semester at Sacramento State and was hired the by CPA that told me to go back to school. I worked at this large CPA firm for 6 years and then started my own firm. Four accounting partners and a divorce later and it was just me just me. Through the CPA business I met my current wife who is a CPA also. We have three children, 1 girl and 2 boys, and now have our own CPA business. My wife was born and raised on a farm in Yuba City. I loved my time in Tulare so we moved to Yuba City to raise our children in a small town like we were raised.
