Life Judy, my wife of 33 years, and I travel as much as we can. So far our passports say Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, France and Taiwan. Best city, in my opinion, London, but we're also partial to Dublin, Ireland and Munich, Germany. The trip to Taiwan was business for me and vacation for Judy. During that trip I developed a fondness for the Chinese and their culture. Judy did a couple day trips to Taipei on her own. Her stories make me wish I was traveling with her instead of working in Hsin Chu. We have a son and a daughter. There names are Patrick and Erynn. There seems to be a small Irish influence in our lives at least as far as names are concerned. Patrick also graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in electrical engineering. He's working in Lawton, Oklahoma at a paper manufacturing company. Erynn graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in art and graphics design. She works in the marketing department of the California Academy of Science in San Francisco. Judy is the Secretary of the Senate in the Oregon State legislature in Salem. Her job is demanding but extremely rewarding. She's looking forward to a life of public service after she retires. As for me, I don't see retirement in my future. I transitioned from chemistry to computers at Wah Chang. I currently direct the activities of several programmers. I love the work. Judy and I have one last project. We're building a new house in South Salem. I guess we didn't learn after the last one. Wis...Expand for more
