Michael's Story
Life
I am a Business (Real Estate) Broker in Tucson, Arizona. I am retired but still own my Brokerage Firm and was named Broker of the Year by the Arizona Association of Business Brokers for 1999. My wife (2nd, married in 1973), Margaret (Hollywood High '72) and I have been here for 27 years. I have two sons, Mike (42) and Jeff (35) and one Daughter, Vicki (40). Four Grandchildren and lovin' it. Don't get to California often but miss the beach. Collect coins and love Las Vegas and Laughlin. I'd be happy to strike up an e-mail dialogue with anyone who cares to. Sorry I missed the August 2010 reunion. Maybe for the 50th.
This past year (2011), I decided to become a professional Santa Claus. I started growing my hair and beard in February in the hope that both would be long enough to look like ...Expand for more
a "real" Santa by Christmastime. It worked. It turned out that my hair was much more gray than white so I had it bleached to white and worked in November and December as a "Photo Studio" Santa as well as personal appearances at office parties, private homes and community and charitable functions. I know I brought joy to a whole lot of kids and families as well as to a bunch of really needy kids. I had more fun than someone my age should. I stay in regular contact with Darriel and Lynda Stoewsand and with Bob Beals and Floyd Angus and, now and then, with Cheri Kechter (Vasseur).
I have fond memories of LHS and of my favorite teacher, Kathryn Offill. I was in Drama all 4 years (it was an easy "A") As I recall, the only one I got.
