Michael's Story
Life
Happily married. 3rd time really is a charm. Sons all grown up, one actually joined the Air Force in spite of my advice. 9 grand children. Working in a Progressive care unit as a registered nurse. I Have an 5 year old dog that has been known to drown small children with slobber. Like "Duke", he'd sell the family secrets for a pat on the head and a "good boy." Wife is a nurse also, and she brings four charming" daughters into the marriage. I guess I'm used to that. having grown up in a family of 13 children. We have 3 son in laws and one daughter in law. Christmas is really expensive. I own my house here in Anchorage, and often spend my time "puttering" around it, breaking and fixing things. The flowers are good, the snow peas grow to 10 feet tall, the carrots are 13 inches long, and the neighbors are great. I guess to sum it all up, God has been good to me in spite of how bad I have been to him. If you're ever up my way, stop by for a cup of coffee or a beer. Bring your favorite war stories, jokes or just BS. Plan to leave Alaska in 2020 after retirement. Looking toward the ozarks. Longer summers and better winters.
Workplace

t" place in Alaska is where I work, as a progressive care nurse. There I get paid for doing some of the most awful things in the name of medicine. I do them well, and most of my "customers" thank me. Since the room only cost $1800 per night, the other tortures are really just a perk. I do love my job. I don't know why they make me go home after just 12 hours. So if you come my way, don't over do it on our long summer days. I'd rather go out to dinner with you than bring you clear liquids on a tray. (no, you can't have crackers with that)
Military
Retired E-7 from the USAF. Thank you for the monthly paycheck. worked for 6 years as a security policeman, then started handing out drugs for free as a pharmacy tech.
Religion
Radical Born again Christ follower with tattoo's and still likes Scotch and occasional beer.
My thoughts on Life
If there has been any great change to the good in my life, it is due mostly to the grace God has provided.
