Michael's Story

Life Uh...not sure what anyone would want to know except maybe leave a legacy of sorts. Left high school, went to college for a little over a year and then joined the Marines. I spent 21 years 3 months fixing helicopters. After retirement I played around being an electrician. In 2000 I became a Paramedic. I worked for awhile and then went on college becoming an RN. Two outstanding kids, one is going to nursing school now and the other works in the moving business. Two grandkids as well. What's not to love about life? School Crush, teacher, memories? It's been so long ago I can't remember. And even if I did? I wouldn't spill it here anyway; I choose not to embarrass anyone. Plus with over 500 graduating in the class...most of us didn't stand out. uch. That first year was a blur. TOO many parties. I had to get my life together and that's why I joined the Marines! Since then I went BACK to college and it was a different animal to say the least. Older, wiser, and nose to the grindstone I have a degree in Emergency Medicine and one as an RN. Workplace HELLO!!! I answered most of this and it concerned the military. However after retirment I became an electrician, then went back to get back to back degrees in medicine and now work as a RN/Paramedic in the ER at a local hospital along with manning a truck. Military 21 years and 3 months (1974-1995) as a United States Marine repairing Avionics at IMA on F-4s, Huey, Cobra, 46's and 53's. Did some of my later years in Production Control. I spent three of the most grueling years of my career on Recruiting Duty at RSS Rochester, NY. All I will say is that I was successful.
