Life
My path has taken me all over the world -- Afghanistan, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, Viet-Nam -- where I worked for many years in the areas of refugee protection, human rights, social work, English-teaching, relief and development.
I presently live in the Washington DC area, where I have continued my career as a refugee worker and labor movement activist. I am married with one child. M...Expand for more

Right now, I am working hard to ensure that the movement to restore hope, civil society, democracy and justice in America keeps moving forward. I hope you are too! Remember to get out and vote in November -- we've come too far to turn back now.
