Michael's Story
Life
Well, after getting medically discharged from the military I went through a long period of depression over my ex-fiance. Eventually I moved on and went back to school at ACC for a little while, and dated a beautiful russian girl named Nataliya. Eventually, living with my parents drove me mad and Nataliya and I went through a rough break-up (my fault). Anyway, I rented a house with a good friend of mine (Larry Johnson) and got a job at Fry's electronics where I eventually became a supervisor in the movies and music department. I was single for about 3 and a half years, mainly because I couldn't trust women, but also because I had forgotten how to be confident in myself. I tried out all the dating sites out there, but quickly discovered they were a waste of time. Trent Bishop and Jessica Riojas moved in with us and they were engaged for a time, but eventually they parted ways, Trent still lived with us for a while before getting a DUI and had to move back to Burnet. Shawn Crumbley eventually moved in when his parents moved to Corpus Christy. Shawn started dating a fat chick, and I was single and refused to lower my standards. Eventually I quit Fry's and went back to school for Aerospace Engineering. My confidence began to improve when I focused on my intelligence rather than on improving my weaknesses. I met a Vietnamese girl in my martial arts class and we started dating in Fall of 2006 and are still together. I ended up having to kick both Larry and Shawn out of the house for various reasons... Shawn in an attempt to teach him a lesson and force him to get a job that he may have otherwise felt was "beneath him" and I would have still allowed him to stay there, just not his girlfriend. His response was to move out and never talk to me again, he chose a fat nasty chick over his best friend... his loss I say. Larry did something similar after accumulating a massive debt to me I had to evict him due to our landlord needing a vacant room for his step-daughter. He moved out and has seldom been heard from since. I heard both of them married those girls. I eventually started going to the University of Texas in the Aerospace Engineering department and am one semester away from graduating at the time of writing this.
