Michael's Story
Michael lives in Mckinleyville, California where he works as a Tribal Gaming Agent for the largest Tribal Gaming Agency in Northern California.
Michael is a retired Army Special Forces Senior Non-Commissioned Officer with extensive experience in firearms instruction, safe firearms handling and personal protection.
Michael is the Chief Range Master and Primary Firearms Instructor for the Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission and the Blue Lake Tribal Police.
Michael is a California Department of Justice Certified Firearms Instructor and an approved California Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) Instructor for the County of Humboldt.
Michael is a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, Chief Range Safety Officer, Pistol Instructor, and Personal Protection Instructor.
In addition to being a graduate of many Law Enforcement and Military firearms training courses, Michael is a graduate of over 20 courses offered by The Front Sight Firearms Training Institute where he has distinguished himself in the Handgun Curriculum. Michael is also a Graduate of the Front Sight Instructor Development Program.

This, along with his background in Operations and Intelligence, Technology, Management and Compliance Investigation/Enforcement within the highly regulated industries of Health Care and Native American Gaming, gives him an exceptionally diverse skill set that has served him well.
Michael tends to view the requirements of his work in a very analytical manner; however, he is also able to be quite decisive when necessary. He is an excellent team player but is also capable of working independently when required. Throughout his career, he has successfully progressed through a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in Operations and Intelligence, Compliance Investigation and Enforcement, Quality Assurance, Business Management and Project Management. He also has a well documented and verifiable record of success in these areas.
Michael also owns and operates Mike Lee Solutions, a private training business that provides Personal Protection and Firearms Training.
Michael is a widower with 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. His youngest daughter is a Medical Laboratory Technician currently on active duty in the United States Army.
