Michael's Story
Life starts over at 53. Divorced now. Sold my share of the house and nearly everything else. Retired and now off to see the world I've not seen yet.
Well 3 years have past, and I've found my final calling in Baja California. I live and work at a Christian orphanage, donating my God given talents as a mechanic. Repairing buses, cars, trucks, and anything else the Mission here has been given stewardship of to bring all the children of this community closer to Jesus Christ. Que la paz de nuestro Señor, Jesucristo, esté con ustedes siempre ...
At the end of February 2020, I moved to the mission and orphanage with the same ministry just outside of Tlacolula near Oaxaca, Mexico. My work remains the same, Gloria a Dios!
In January 2021, I was blessed with the opportunity to expand my service to Christ. I was asked and joyfully accepted the responsibility maintaining and repairing all 70+ vehicles in FFHM’s Mexico operations. So in addition to my main shop at the orphanag...Expand for more
e in Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oax., the shop in Vicente Guerrero, BC., I now also travel to Culiacan, Sinaloa, and to Tijuana BC..
I want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. If you are curious about Foundation for His Ministry and the work we do, I would encourage a search on Google or Facebook.
May God continue to bless us all.
March,2022….my service in Mexico is winding down, last day appears to be the 23rd. What a true blessing I’ve experienced here for the past 4 years.
Next stop, looks like God is calling me to Phoenix, Az.
And here I am, lovely Phoenix Arizona. Mexico almost prepared me for constant 100+ degree days. By God’s will and grace I’ve moved into a nice 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor and purchased a 2019 Ford Festiva. At 45 mpg I am blessed. Can’t help but remember the song: “What do you want from life?” How many times did my answer to that question change. Really hasn’t changed in the last 7 years. Peace, real peace be yours!
