floor nurse at OSU. Classic doctor-nurse love story. We have two children, Mike III and Matt (Born 1982 and 1985). Mike is bassoonist in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and was previously the Principal Bassoonist for the Atlanta Opera Orchestra and the Principal Bassoonist for the Augusta (GA) Symphony Orchestra. He is married to Liz (a lawyer). They have one child, Catherine, Born June 28, 2016. Matt was previously a professional concert tuba player in NYC. He worked at Julliard. He left music to obtain a degree in astrophysics from the University of Colorado (perfect 4.0). He has gone back to school for aerospace engineering. He currently controls NASA satellites (like Kepler). He's married to Jenny (aeronautical engineer). No kids yet.
