Michael's Story
Family
I am married to Miranda (Shatas) a wonderful woman from Huntsville, AL that I met at Jacksonville State. We live in Huntsville, AL and have been married for 13 years. God has blessed us with three children, Melody (11) Marshall (5) and Marisa (3).
College
In 2002 I completed my Masters in Business Administration from Auburn University. In 1996 I completed a BS in business administration from Athens State University. In 1994 I completed an Associates in Administrative Sciences from Gadsden State Community College. However, I do not currently have any plans to to get a doctorate.
Workplace

from Auburn University in December 2002, I have been working for firm that provides private equity investments in small startup businesses. We generally give advice and access to funding for very early stage technology companies. Before that I worked for a company that provided financial valuations for a variety of companies, estates, family partnerships, and businesses. Before that I worked for a small business traveling around the country installing and training on a PC based point of sale system.
Hobbies,
I like to work in the yard, play on the water at the lake, spend time with my family and sing in the church choir.
