Michael's Story
Life
Maybe some day when I have an extra hour or two I'll complete a full "life bio" for all of the inquisitive minds out there. For now I will provide a current update.
I am remarried since 1996 to Anne and we live in Fond du Lac, WI on Lake Winnebago. We share our 3 bedroom ranch style lake home with our two dogs Gracie (Whippet)and our new youngster Bella (Labradoodle). General left us in 2011 and we will miss him always.
I have two children from my first marriage. Al lives in Fond du Lac so we see him often. After leaving the Army, Jenny moved to Oregon. She met a lovely girl named Hannah and they got married in August '12. We had a wonderful time being part of their celebration.
My Mom passed in April 2009 and Dad lives in a nice place in Germantown. Pep lives in Slinger and Kathy has a beautiful home in the Colgate/Richfield area. Jeff moved up to Escanaba, MI but he still does some business in the Milwaukee area.
My beautiful, intelligent and much younger (heehee) wife Anne has her Masters degree in early childhood. She is a teacher at Moraine Park Technical College here in Fond du Lac.
After finding out that I couldn't make a decent living as a disc jockey I got into the car business and 37 years later I'm still doing it. Once upon a time some people said I was pretty good at it but that was long ago. I spent eight years during the 90's and early 2000's as a consultant/trainer for the auto industry. There has been a lot of traveling, hotels and great stories. Currently I work for eXteresAUTO out of Riverside CA and am the Director of Training for our EDU division.

19.5 ft Glastron speed boat. Our summer weekends are split between country roads with the convertible and swooshing across the lake for burgers at the Fin and Feather in the boat. (Oh maybe a little golf too.)
In my free time I enjoy working around the house ,reading (mostly fiction)and sports.
We have a tight circle of friends that includes family members, some old chums from school days and several couples and individuals we have met along the way. Getting together often includes a group and is usually anything but peaceful or somber.
As for me, I'm still way too loud and mischievious. My doctor keeps saying I'm healthly and strong as a bull even though I've develop some of the same physical characteristics of one. I may have taken the one glass of red wine a day advice a bit too seriously. I am enjoying life tremendously.
My politics waver back and forth depending on the topic. I vote every time there is an election because I firmly believe that if you don't bother to vote you shouldn't bother to share your opinion.
I continue to have some basic rules in life. Such as Don't mess with kids,Don't mess with old folks, Don't mess with women AND Don't mess with my family.
May my tongue fall out if I tell a lie. It's so much easier to remember the truth.
You will get out of life (or anything for that matter) what you put into it.
Always go to work. People depend on you and you shouldn't let them down.
Try to take a lunch break every day and don't forget that naps are really cool. (That's why we did them in kindergarten.)
I work hard but I have learned to take care of myself too.
Some short story...Leave a note or make a call. Love Ya!
