Chef Parise worked in entertainment as a comedian for 20 years with over 100 television appearances and 20 films he had a show on VH1 which he co-starred with Andrew Dice Clay, he also worked along Rodney Dangerfield, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Jada Pinkett Smith. Chef Parise resides in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, with his wife Sherilene and there 5 year old daughter,Catherine, he is getting ready to launch another cookbook as well as beginning shooting on his next Reality Show, called "Dear Chef" Chef Parise just announced that he opened PA RI SE Catering in Las Vegas NV. he food world he originally started with in 1986. Michael started his own full service catering business in 2003 called Cannoli Kings. What started off as a Cannoli Mail order service and drop off catering to small businesses grew into personal chef services for celebrities as well as catering for elaborate Hollywood parties.
The company started in a West Hollywood apartment and has flourished into a million dollar empire in a state of the art 4,000 square foot kitchen in North Hollywood. Michael was very aggressive with marketing the business. About 99.9% of the marketing was done on the Internet. In 2007, Citysearch.com declared Cannoli Kings as the best caterer in Los Angeles.
Cannoli Kings have been branded as one of LA’s favorite catering companies rated best of CitySearch 2007-2008-2009-2010-2011.and best catering by FOX LA. Chef Michael and his team of servers, bartenders, chefs, cooks, ice carvers, and fruit sculptures have catered for some of the biggest names and parties in Hollywood, from Halle Berry to Michael Jackson and The Emmy’s to Reality Remix Awards.
Currently Chef Michael has found himself back on the comedy circuit alongside his friend Andrew “Dice” Clay in the new VH1 reality series titled “Dice Undisputed”, premiering spring 2007. Chef Michael is currently in negotiations with a production company in Los Angeles to shoot a reality show based on his life.
Before moving back to the west coast Chef Michael owned his first signature restaurant in Chimney Rock, NC. Called “Parise’s New American Bistro” Located in Western North Carolina. Parise’s Bistro became “Best fine dining in WNC” rated # 5 out of 100 best restaurants in WNC. By, urbanspoon.com
