More about Michael:"I was born in Wichita, KS and haven't ever lived anywhere to far from there. I have been on a couple vacations outside this state, but not many. I guess you could say this is my way of finding out what the rest of the world is like. My father's first day of employment at Lear Jet was the day I was born. What a great excuse for not going in. I'm just glad they didn't fire him. Cause 30 years later he is still there and climbing the ladder. My mother alot of the time was a house wife, if thats a title. Trust me house wifes of Kansas is nothing like "House wifes of Atlanta". I have a younger sister who is about 10 years younger, and 2 bothers who are 2 years apart from their sister and each other. I had alot of ambition as a younger child to become whatever I wanted to be, but I listened to haters as Kat Williams would say and didn't live up to those dreams. My family is real close knit. I had a great up bringing. With loving parents and really fun cousins to hang with. Me and my cousins started spliting apart as we got into high school. I went to Wichita East High, which in Wichita was considered one of the badest schools. Our football modo was "If we didn't beat you on the field, we would...Expand for more
in the parking lot". We didn't when much games either. Don't let that fool ya though, I don't think we were as bad as we let others to beleive. Sports wise basketball was our specialtise. We were always in the top ranks. I Wrestled for all 4 years there. We weren't to good at that either, almost border line average. I lettered and was on Varsity sophmore to senior year. As a sophmore I used to hang with a lot of asian gangsters, boy that got me in trouble time and time again. When I was a junior I got shot while going to lunch with friends. The bullet went thru my left side shoulder blade passed my spine and sits in the right side where my neck meets my traps, or shoulder. Thats when I finally accepted that God had a plan for my life and what I was doing wasn't it. I ended up graduating high school and going on to Bible college at L.I.F.E. Watch Bible Institute. While there I was in a bad car wreck with 3 other classmates. Amazingly enough(which was obviously all God) no one was hurt. I graduated and moved on to start youth pastoring at a inter city Assembly of God church in Wichita. I stayed there for awhile then moved on to a Church of God in Christ church where I studied under the pastor for a few years. I was liscensed as a minister there. I met my wife there and we got married and have had two wonderful boys since then. At this time I am attending college tring to find a career that will take care of my family real comfortably.
