Michael's Story
Life
Shortly after graduating from NFM in 1987 I moved to Upstate NY to take care of my Grandfather, who lived alone and took care of me throughout my life in various ways. I spent 9 years with him and I don't regret a single minute of it. Once he passed I lived in Philadelphia for 2years. In 1998 I moved near Atlanta Georgia, about 35mins on the Northside. I have been here since. My immediate family still resides in Florida (Tampa area and Orlando area). I have relatives and friends in New York and I have a house I go to visit from time to time. I try to keep in touch with my Florida roots. I visit from time to time and see my good buddies Bert Cool, James Harris and Brian Hitzing. I completely lost touch with one of my High School side kicks Mark Whitten.
School
High School was a lot of fun for me and I miss all the friends I left behind. I think I was kind of shy in a lot of ways, at least when it came to girls, I was always more of the follower than the leader back then I think. I would definitley do it all over again, I had so many fun times! I always get a kick out of remembering how we always got together at the McDonalds on a Friday and Saturday nights to figure out what was going on and then we would all scatter. We were in the dark ages....now it's just a myspace or text message away. I had too many crushes to list here, LOL. If I had a crush on someone you probably knew ...Expand for more

College
College was a part time job for me. I started out for a Criminal Justice degree since I had friends that were a Assistant District Attorney (Now a County Judge), NY State troopers, Local Law Enforcement and Lawyers. I decided that I wanted something different and quickly changed my major to AirScience. I received my Pilots license and flew all over the North East have a lot of fun. I finished with a Business Degree in the end. My most recent educational continuation has been a Master Certificate in Project Management through George Washington University.
Workplace
Pizza maker, Convenient Store Clerk, Meat Cutter. It wasn't until after College that I landed my first real job. I did a small internship at a Finacial Planners office IDS Financial Services (American Express). I moved on to work for a Cable Company and then Cable Contracting Company. Through the dot.com stuff I of course work for a start-up company and helped pioneer Interactive Television. Once the dot.com stuff tanked I moved on to Work for Motorola in one of the many International divisions. I traveled all over Europe for 4 years. I left Motorola to work with a Colleague and Mentor and got back in the Interactive Television arena. I now work for a leader in the Interactive Television Market and I manage large scale ITV and IPTV deployments for major MSO's and other Operators.
