Michael's Story

Life Well...Mr.Mike decided to come up with some minor coin and try this site out and see if anyone else from the old class is still kicking and looking to party. I'll be handling the music at the the Alumni Dance June 18th at the Shriver Center at Miami University in Oxford. I know a lot of people don't really like going to the "event" so how about a private party for the class o' 75' their significant others and invited guests? I've been in touch with Nena Line Brandt, Danny "fix my car please" Stevens, and a few others. Of course the reason I'm looking at this site is to see if there are any other party people on-line. Hey...the event in Oxford I'm providing the music for is business and I'm getting my normal fee. If anyone wants to get a party together, on the night before (Friday the 17th), I'll supply the sound and lights for free to set the mood...I just need a place to play and the electricity to plug into. Any suggestions? I'm currently doing morning news for the Westwood One Radio/...Expand for more

Mike "Mr. Mike" Phillips Workplace I have always been a broadcaster...and I've had many opportunities too do a lot of things and meet a lot of people that I would never have without the profession. It's not as easy as people think. You move around a lot, the money is marginal but the adventure gets into your blood. I've done the Top 40 DJ thing, flying in circles over Dayton as a traffic reporter, and now Newscaster. The business has changed dramatically over the years. Even listeners to the TV or Radio can tell that. I like performing in nightclubs, at weddings, and private partys with my DJ company. I'm also a "Certified Mixologist/Bartender". It's like dispensing candy...to adults! Anyone up for "exotic shooters"?
