Michael's Story

Life I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Business Management and immediately went to work for Texas Instruments. I started as a supervisor in production, but quickly started moving up the corporate ladder. I became a shift manager, a logistics manager, a field service operations manager, and finally a major account manager. Along the way, I got married and immediately became a father of a beautiful step daugter, Vickie, whom I consider my daughter today. Then we had my son, Jacob. r six years, I sold my company to my partner and started my own company, Impact Training & Development. I have been in business completely on my own now for four years. I have become very busy volunteering in a professional association called the American Society for Training & Developement where I am on the Board of Directors. My son has lived with me for five years now. I truly love having my son with me though I am a single parent. We have a great relationship. Lately, I have been very busy persuing my hobby in music. I have been writing songs and performing them at open mic nights at many venues around Houston. I have not remarried yet, but I hope to one day.
