Michael's Story
Michael's schools include Del Norte High School. Shasta collage,Collage of San Mateo and Humboldt State University. With degree in sociology and elementary Education. Having been sent off to Viet Nam several times I returned home to total craizienss in SF. I spent a year there finishing up my AA degree then transferred to HSU to finish out my schooling . Became to what most called a hippy though that term didn't apply to me. I wa merely a responsible , fun loving longhair individual. Eventually married and left humboldt county , divorced remarried had two wonderful kids and a bad marriage again! Ran a construction company for 30 plus years of which 20 were in the Sacramento area. When my youngest was ready to graduate high school a job opportunity came up in Mc Kinleyville, so I packed up and moved back to the area that I have a great affinity for and have remained ever since! Have meet and married the love of my life (Helen). y into drugs for ten years then decided to give it all up as it was a dead end life. Unknowingly for 40 years suffered from a serious TBI injury that raised havoc with my relationships and caused much strife in all those whom I had intimate contact with. That issue has been resolved mostly. . My children are now Hanna,28 and living and workin in Sacramento having just finished her degree in nutrition and Timothy who just turned 26 living , working and working as a computer tech for a company that deals in finance in Sacramento. Now have a granddaughter and grandson thru my son and his wife. My wife Helen has blessed my life with the addition of her 2 children 4 grand and 2 great grandchildren. I would be remiss if my developing a strong belief in the saving grace of my Lord Jesus Christ was not included . I will not belabor the point as everyone has their own thoughts on this matter. Like all of us I have my daily challenges with health,family and life but I'm happy to be alive,gardening, traveling and enjoying what ever the day brings. God Bless you all. Michael.
