Michael's Story

Hello to everyone.
I am a Project Manager /QC for a medium sized General Construction Company. Gross Sales about 30 to 35 mil. Work in the Northern Virginia, Metropolitan Washington Area, Baltimore and Southern Maryland areas. Projects involve bridges, roadways, water, sewer and Electrical Duct bank. We also build vertical (buildings), most of our work is government projects.
I have been divorced for some time and are raising three children. I have a 19 year old son, 16 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. My children have been residing with me for the last 7 years. My oldest graduated Highpoint in 2007. I still have a Junior and Freshman attending Highpoint. Hats off to all the single mothers. What a job. I would not trade it in...Expand for more

I am an active member for 26 years and counting with the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department. I have held ranks as an officer from Lieutenant to Deputy Chief for the last 20 years and currently a Board of Director. I still ride and drive fire trucks.
Hobbies:
I roller blade and skateboard alot. I enjoy the half pipe and skate board parks. I still do hand stands down the road with my skateboard. My kids thinks it's cool. Go figure. I still ice skate in the winter months and also sometimes in the summer, but roller blading from spring to fall. Not bad for a 225lb-6'0" 46 year old. I keeps me active and I enjoy doing it. I don't think I will every grow up. Body is still hanging in there with no health problems aches or pains.
