Michael's Story
I moved from West Covina to Westchester between my Junior and Senior year, so I only spent my last year of High School at Westchester High. Needless to say, I only made a few friends and so I doubt anyone would remember me from my graduating class. If you do, I applaud your power to remember! HA!
After graduation I worked full time and attended classes at West LA JC, then joined the US Air Force in May 1975. Became an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician (think The Hurt Locker movie and you'll know what I did for a living). I spent 25 years, seven month...Expand for more
s and 8 days in the USAF and retired on 1 Jan 2001.
Since then I've spent most of my time being retired, but have also worked as a civilian unexploded ordnance (UXO) removal tech. Basically I go to places contaminated with UXO and remove/dispose of the hazard.
I also spent five years as a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) instructor teaching people how to safely ride a motorcycle.
I'm happily married to my second wife and we live in Clearwater, FL. We each have two children from previous marriages and six grandkids from both sides of our blended family.
