Michael's Story
After High School I moved to Vermont and went to college. I married [and later divorced] a Vermont girl and we had two sons.
I began a career in Law Enforcement in 1980 and continue serving the citizens of Vermont to this day.
I retired from the Vermont State Police in July of '08 and accepted a position with a Vermont Sheriffs Office where I supervise the Patrol and Investigation Divisions. I also teach at the Vermont Police Academy.

I had a great career with the Vermont State Police and still enjoy working in the law enforcement field with the Sheriffs Office.
My son's are grown and live in different parts of the country. My oldest is serving in the U.S. Army, fighting the war on terror. My younger son lives out west and works in the ski industry.
I met my wife Andrea in 1996 and we got married in 1999. She recently retired as the Executive Director of Run Vermont and is now working as an event management consultant. We live a very active lifestyle and are looking forward to moving south to a warmer climate where we can use our boat and motorcycle year round.
