Mike's Story
Life
Hi! Few will probably remember me from the (high school) class of '75. I was very shy & introverted (In the yearbook I'm listed under 'camera shy'.), and made few friends. I pretty much kept to myself and spent a LOT of my spare time playing my guitar. I began working the day after graduation (which I didn't attend...) I worked for 2 years, then attended college. I then disappeared from the face of the Earth while I tried to figure out where I was heading. After numerous dead-end/lousy jobs and rock bands I decided to further my education. Very smart move. I'm now the main/go-to guy for the IT department of a major pharmaceutical company. I'm currently living with my excellent - and much younger - girlfriend, and I'm still playing my guitar. Life is good. So, if anyone out there recalls a skinny, long-haired kid with glasses (who was obsessed with Jimi Hendrix), then drop me a line. (The 'Now' picture was taken in June 2004, and the 'Before' picture was taken in December 1975.)

Update: Life has been great! I was recently hired by the same company I'd been consulting for. I've been on 2 cruises (Bahamas, and Caribbean....and a 3rd cruise planned for this summer), vacationed in Las Vegas, spent 2 weeks in Switzerland, and have added to my guitar collection. I've also been in touch with some former classmates.....definitely a good thing. Again, if anyone out there remembers me and would like to get in touch, please drop me a line.

Update: February 2008
Got engaged, bought a house. Got a great deal on a very nice 5-bedroom that needs zero work and has a huge driveway, nice backyard, and a big basement. Prior owner was.........(drumroll).....a guitar player! He'd set-up a recording area in the basement, so it's fairly sound-proof. (Talk about stepping in it...) I'll now have my own guitar-room!!! Number of guitars: 22. Number of cruises: 5. I've also completed a 3D computer graphics course. You can see my work on youtube. Just search for M&M AXL.
