Michael's Story
Drafted into U.S. Army (Vietnam). Retired as Chief Warrant Officer after 25 years service in Elizabethtown, Ky near Fort Knox - my last duty station. Happily married 54 years to my high school sweetheart Judy A. Stevens (Shemwell) who attended Howe HS. We were married 2 days after graduation and have 3 sons, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren...Expand for more
. I was drafted just a few months after we married. After I retired from the army I worked 10 years civil service/military contractors before retiring again in 2006. Currently doing volunteer work helping re-deployed soldiers at Fort Knox. Also serve on the Fort Knox Post Advisory Committee. Would love to hear from anyone I went to school with!
