Not sure how to tell a story that spans 20 years but I'll give it a shot! I spent the first few years after HS partying and chasing women (basically wasting time). Made a decision in late '91 to return "home" to MN. I made the decision after my first visit to MN since moving to California in 1982. There was a part of me that never felt whole while living in California. I never really fit in, so to speak. I knew after spending a few days in MN playing softball with old friends, water skiing and fishing, that the kind of life I wanted for Myself. That life, mostly due to the financial restraints of living in CA, would be difficult to achieve. Moving turned out to be the best decision I ever made. While I chose not to go to college, I did know that my career would be managing people at some level and the move certainly helped me focus on my career. I found restaurant management to be rewarding and have never really done anything else. Along with the decision to focus on a career, I also found out that I wanted to settle down and start a family. In 1992 I met Lynn, 13 years my senior, who already had 3 great kids! We married in 1993 and bought our first home in 1994. Why someone so much older?
