WOW I don't know if I have enough pages to encompass the last 45 years. I left Hammond and went to Valdosta State College, Georgia on a basketball scholarship. I played 4 years for them and finished as All-State and Honorable Mention All-American small college. That summer I played basketball in Australia, New Zealand, Somoa, Figi with a missionary group. At the end of the summer I received a telegram from the Chicago Bulls to come to their training camp. I did but decided to go back to finish college instead of staying with them--I probably would have been cut--who knows. Anyway it was for the best as I would have been drafted by the Army, and I met the Lady of my life--Kathy. We were married 1969 in Miami, Fl. I have 2 sons, Scott and Mark. Scoot is married to Michele and has 2 little girls, while Mark is married to Jennifer and has a boy and girl. Scott lives here in Florida and Mark Columbia, SC. Both are or have been Youth Pastors.
