Michael's Story
After West Leyden I graduated from DePaul University in 1970 (yes it took awhile). I worked in the restaurant business for years before going to law school. I graduated from Hastings College of the Law in 1981 and proceeded to do a Master of Laws in Law, Psychiatry and Criminology at George Washington University, the National Law Center in Washington DC. My filed of law has varied from Criminal, Appeals in all Federal Courts, California and Hawaii, Entertainment, Personal Injury. For the last 10 years I have been practicing Bankruptcy Law in Illinois, Texas and California.
My wife, Maureen J. Shanahan is my law partner. We are on the verge of moving to either Dallas or New Orleans where we will set up a practice there.
