Michael's Story
After high school I attended Michigan Tech University in Houghton, MI. Got drafted into the army in February 1969, basic at Ft Knox, served at Ft Sill OK as parts clerk in the motor pool. Went to Viet Nam in 1970, I was in a boat company in the army, served as a radio repairman. Got out in December of 1970. Met my wife Betty then, got married in 1973. Been married to Betty for 45 years now. Worked for my Dad at the gas station for a while then worked for Federal-Mogul as a tool and die machinist for 42 years bef...Expand for more
ore they retired me. Still living in Ypsi and still tinkering with cars. Have 1 son and 2 grandkids.
Edit 2023
My wife of 46 years passed in November 2019. Covid hit at about the same time which didn't make things any easier. I was on a dating site and messaged with several ladies and dated a few of them. Met a lady from Battle Creek and we fell in love. We will be married on January 29, 2023. We have bought a house in Ypsi and will be selling the houses that we have lived in and move to that house. God is good!
