Michael's Story
Attended Hardy Elementary, Gordon Jr High, then Woodward Prep (except 2nd semester, junior yr in 64 and first part of senior yr in fall 64 attended Western) returned to Woodward and graduated in 65. Joined the army in Nov 65. Served Nov 65 - Nov 68 (Vietnam Jul 67 - Jul 68 (68 Tet Offensive near Hue City...not fun); served again Apr 71 - Mar 78 (2nd Vietnam tour Aug 72 - Mar 73, MACV advisor, HQ Second Mil Region, Pleiku). Maryland U grad. Dept of Defense civilian care...Expand for more
er Mar 78 - Mar 2007; retired but rehired part time Mar 2007 (scheduled to fully retire Mar 2011). April 2011, hired as a contractor to perform the same work, same office (like Michael Corleone in Godfather III, "Every time I think I'm out, they pulled me back in). Married - four children, eight grandchildren, five great grandchild (yes, really). For those who knew my brothers (Bob...aka "Res" 1945 -2014, Steve 1949 -, and John 1956 -) Steve and John live in Virginia.
