I'm living in the Tampa Bay area of Florida - over by the beaches - and have been in this area since 1981. After graduating and trying out some "higher education" - I was just too distracted with the whole music scene back in the late 60's to accomplish much other than want to be a rock n' roll star. Well, that didn't happen but I continue to enjoy playing music today - and it's still all pretty much rock n' roll - except now for Jesus. Actually, I play in three bands - two at my church and one with some friends. One of the church bands is a great "country" band called God's Country and we play every Saturday night for what they call "Country Church". The other one is a band that plays at a kind of hip Sunday morning worship service called HD (High Definition). The people who attend the HD service basically come in very casual clothes - mostly blue jeans - and there's a coffee bar open in the sanctuary right before the service begins so if you get there a little early you can enjoy a cup of coffee. The church is called First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks and it's located in Largo Florida so if you're ever in the area - come say hi at 6:00 pm Saturday evening or 9:00 Sunday morning. The other band I play in is called Shepherd's View. The name pretty much means that we now live, play and look at life through Jesus Christ's eyes - the Good Shepherd. The band has a CD available on iTunes if you're interested. The non-music part of my life or what I doing to make a living revolve around producing corporate video presentations - specializing in annual conference work. This means, once a year, large corporations get all there sales people, etc. together and have a 2, 3, 4 day meeting and really put on a dog & pony show - and that where I come in.
