Michael's Story
Life
For those of you who have not yet purchased my Bio at Borders, this will have to do . . . I'm currently living in Erie, Colorado, just outside of Boulder. After high school, I went to Utah State University. I still had the itch to play football, so I played kicker and tight end there for a few years. I graduated with a BS in Finance in 1990.
I met my wife, Becky, in college in Utah, and she followed me to Houston where I attended law school at the University of Houston. When I started law school, I thought I wanted to practice law and live in Houston for a long time. Man, Houston really sucks . . . and so did practicing law. ston for a few years, then we left Houston (and I left the law) and moved to Colorado in 1996.
We now have a seven year old boy, Ryan, and a five year old girl, Skylar. IÂm currently Senior Vice President of a Boulder financial planning firm. We do investment management and estate planning for high net worth individuals.
IÂm still a huge sports fan. I still religiously follow Longhorn and Denver Bronco football and play golf as much as I can.
I have been particularly poor at keeping in touch with my former classmates, but I think it would be great to see everyone again someday . . . Every once in a while I Google some of you, so I know where some of you are . . .
