Michael's Story
Hello:
1967, Cheyenne, now that was a different world! After Cheyenne Central and the 1966 & 1967 State Champion wrestling teams, I went to Highline Jr. College in Seattle, Washington and wrestled for the Thunderbirds. In 1968 I went to Colorado University and wrestled from 1969-1972 for the Buffalos. That was a wild time and I was a meteor with my hair on fire, wrestling in the Big-8, driving a Jaguar XKE Roadster or Harley Davidson Sportst...Expand for more
er. After Boulder, I taught history and coached wrestling at Taylorsville High School in Utah for 31 years. I married Beth Chocas from East High School, class of 1967, and University of Wyoming '72. My son Theros, teaches history and coaches wrestling and my daughter Megan works for Abbott Inc. I have four grandchildren. Today I am retired and doing a lot of different things that I enjoy. All the best to all the Central grads out there.
