More about Michael:"I'm a 56 year old male (old fart). I've been happily married to the same woman for the last 31 years. Her name is Tilcia and she is from Panama. We have two wonderful children. Our son, Tony, is 28and our daughter, Cynthia is 26. She gave us our first grandchild, Andrew in September 2009.
I retired from the Air Force in 1993, having put in 20 years. I worked on Luke Air Force base for 11 years as a contractor making more money doing the same thing that i did on active duty, telephone maintenance. Plus I had a three year stint in the middle of that...Expand for more
where I worked for the State of Arizona, maintaining their telephone switch. Then in September 2007 we moved to Rock Hill,SC because I changed employers to Shared Technologies Inc. I worked at Novant Health Care facilities which included Presbyterian hospital in Charlotte, NC and hospitals in Matthews and Huntersville, NC as well as their data center in Ft mill, SC. Unfortunately that only lasted 14 months. Then I had to take a job maintaining the switch for the University on Maine in Orono, ME. Then Shared Technologies lost that maintenance contract and had no other position for my so they laid me off. I had it with the communications field and tried OTR trucking for a short while. Wile that was a nice experience, it really wasn't for me. So when a telephone job came open on Fort Jackson I jumped on it. Home with family nights and weekends again, yay! The Ft Jackson job was to replace a guy injured in a motorcycle crash. But be healed faster than expected. Now I have a telephone swith job in the UAE. Seperated from family again.".
