Michael's Story

In 1992 I was deported from Israel for organizing an anti-war protest--this, in the only "democracy" in the Middle East! 200 of us were arrested by IDF soldiers, transported in jeeps, locked up for three days, accused of violating military laws and being a threat to national security and then told to scram. hundred of us successfully sued the City of New York for arresting us and holding us 3 days incommunicado during the Republican National Convention. The Court of Appeals backed us up and each of us was awarded up to $10,000. Hi Ho! More recently I travelled to Russia to locate my family, and because all my life people have been telling me to "go back to Russia!"
