Michael's Story
Life
Try finding me on face-book.
School
I had massive parties at my house in what used to be the boonies. One had a voluntary registry of over 250. (WTF is "Green Death" anyway?) I still occasionally come across someone I don't recognize who says "I was there, dude!"
I used to live two houses down from Mr. Stan McGee. I came home one night to see him beating the living crap out of his wife in the street. The next day the creep was flirting with the girls at school, meanwhile Mrs. McGee was at home nursing black eyes. From that day forward he was known to me and close friends as "Wifebeater McGee".
Later when they separated, I took care of their yard for Mrs. McGee. She told me some rather alarming things about Dulles' charming speech teacher. You never know about some people.
College
Went to HCC for awhile, then dropped out to start my own business. Unfortunately it failed.
Workplace
I went from designi...Expand for more
ng circuit boards for Compaq, TI, NASA, and others in a small shop to being a trailer mechanic in the first few years after high school. I went on to work doing odd electrical and mechanical assembly jobs until I found that I have a knack with computers. I 1997 I became an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) with nearly a decade of computer experience. Now I am a Database Administrator trying to break the 6 digit mark.
I started a computer support services business during a "feast" period and eventually lost it after the recent "famine" period resulting from Republicans running the country (into the ground).
I am now Systems Administrator for the Harris County Toll Road Authority (and no, I can't get you free passage :) ).
Military
With my distrust of authority....HA! I'd have been dishonorably discharged. I knew I wasn't right for the military when the Army recruiter suggested that I read too much.
