Michael's Story
Life
I graduated from UCLA in 1969 and went on to the Hebrew Union College where I was ordained as a rabbi in 1973. Following ordination, I became the assistant rabbi at Congregation Beth Israel in San Diego and was made senior rabbi in 1976. I served there until 1993. Sinai Congregation in 1996 where I am today. From my first marriage, I have two children, Marc who is now a television news producer in Denver and Robin who is a law student at Emory Law School in Atlanta. I am now married to Deborah Bard, who is a cantor. Deborah's daughter, whom we call R.P. is 13 and lives with us in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. If you want to know more, just send me an e-mail!
