My wife Jo(Serio) and I have lived in North Torrance, for 48 years. (we actually live closer to Gardena High now than when we were in school) I have been a real estate broker for 45 years, and have been sub teaching for 27 years in grades 1 thru 5 for the Torrance School District. As an sideline, I do oil paintings, watercolors, murals and graphic design work, some of which I sell. Jo retired from Bell Telephone after 27 years in 1991, and in 2012 retired from the Daily Breeze after 20 years. I have a few old classic cars that I take to car shows locally and often bump into old Gardena alums.
