Michaelle's Story
I'm not sure how I'm remembered. High school was all about ditching class and living in the moment. Not too bright!! My little sphere of friends included Becky Swain, Nayla Benedict, Lynn Gagnon, and many from the class of 1969. I did attend the reunion in 1990 when my son graduated from high school. I moved away from Port Angeles in 1978 to southern California and finally made it back in 1991. 2 weeks. Compared to the CPA exam, the real estate exam was a piece of cake. Wish I had all that knowledge now. 20 years and I'm amazed at how much I can forget. The most pronounced person I can remember from grade school through high school has been Mark Derousie. Can't help but run into him in this business. Would love to see Becky Swain again, though it's been a long time since we conversed. High school was sort of a blur, though I do remember Sandy Keys as a fantastic history teacher and Mr Foote as an easy person to annoy. I learned a lot from both of them. On a parting note, my husband Alan, and I own the RE/MAX real estate office in Port Angeles. Periodically I get re-acquainted with those from the past. Wish I could remember more about those times. Anyone else have this memory problem?
