Micheal's Story
Life
Wow, was high school really 20 years ago? I finally believe my grandparents about paying attention to your life because before you know it there's more behind you than in front. Well, as for my present day life, I have not ventured down the aisle, as of yet. I just haven't found my lobster. For my work, I spend half the year traveling as a project engineer for a commercial construction company. And for my leisure, I have a partnership in a horse and cattle operation with two friends from college. We breed horses that are geared for working ranch operations. Right now it's just paying for itself, but hopefully we'll develop a name in the industry and watch out. I just bought 40 acres north of Houston, Texas and plan on spending the next several years building my own house. Sure hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew.

ded to pilot training in the Air Force, before budget issues had the Air Force redirect my training. I was allowed to opt out of active duty and became involved in construction through my college buddies from A&M. Ever since, it's been one challenge after another. The next several years will be very eventful, I feel. I am currently setting up plans to start my own construction company. And I am two months away from finishing up the construction of a tavern in Houston, I recently bought a share into. So you might say the word for the day is diversification.
Now for the physical changes. Luckily, I have not lost any hair, but the midsection becomes more and more of a challenge. Not having had been married and raised children, my minds eye still finds it hard to see me as a man on the verge of midlife. I am eager to see old schoolmates again, and truly see how far we've come. I think the coolest thing will be to see the images of my friends past in the present faces of their children. Well, I'll end my rambling here. I hope anyone who reads this is well and plans to attend the reunion. From '85 we're still alive.
