Michele's Story

Life I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Business Adminisration (Accounting) in 1987. I got married in August 1995. My husband was in the Air Force at the time and we relocated to Maryland shortly after our wedding. Our daughter was born in 1997. I could not stand the thought of some else taking care of her while I worked, so I left my job of 10+ years as a Senior Auditor with the De...Expand for more
paratment of Defense to be a stay at home mom. My husband got out of the Air Force in 1998. Our intention was to return to Califronia to be near my family. However, my husband received a great job offer in Maryland that provided a large enough salary for us to live off one income. So, we've put off returning to California (for the time being) and bought a home in Maryland. Our son was born in 2000.
