Michele's Story

Currently I reside outside of Boston, MA with my husband and two children, Kaylee and Colin. I love New England. I work for Non-Profit Employer's Association in MA and love my job. My children have adjusted and enjoy the NE area too.
My daughter Kaylee is 13 and will be 14 in April and my son Colin is 7 and will be 8 in May. The only challenge moving to NE for Kaylee was that Volleyball is not as competitive in NE as in the Midwest and there is no Middle School Teams. Fortunately, she has been taller than me (everyone knows most people are) since she was in 5th grade. Kaylee is playing with for a Volleyball Club here in NE that she loves. She is on a 15U team, but in 16U tournaments and doing very well. She misses her old Club though. I think she misses my coaching a bit too.
Colin loves NE because he loves hockey and got started on the ice as soon as we moved here last November. My husband is coaching and runnin...Expand for more
g one of the In House Mites programs, which I think adds to Colin's enjoyment. He is getting ready to try out for next Fall's teams but will be on a summer team too. Colin also plays soccer and interested in LaCross. He will also start football in Fall. I'm not sure how easy the hockey/football schedule will gel, but we'll find out.
My life is dictated by my children. I couldn't be more proud of them. My daughter is a great student with a fun-loving personality. My son has a big heart and likes to look after his mom. Most of my time is devoted to them and taking them places and doing things for school, sports, and with friends. We do lots of things together as a family, but it is great to have a "Built in Babbysitter" so my husband and I can do things together too. We usually enjoy a movie or concert.
