More about Michele:"I moved around alot as a kid. I'm a Navy brat so I went to 11-12 schools before graduating from Encinal High School in Alameda, California in 1980. I was born and remainded Michele Jimenez through my sophomore year at Pace High School in Pace, Fla. We moved to California when I was 16 and my stepfather adopted me and my sister and I became Michele Frisko. I've been married to my husband Dave for 30 years. Throughout the years I've learned that not all is as I expected and that marriage is an evolution. Neither of us are who we were 30 years ago, who would want to be! If you have faith through the ups and downs, are willing to give as well as take and learn or grow a little each day, you're sure to be with the one that really gets you and accepts you, faults and all. e California and headed to North Dakota for my job. Definitely both a positive and negative experience. I think it was great for our younger children, the value system and the sense of community was what we needed after the hustle and bustle of California. We do miss the friends we left behind though. The flip side was the long hours Dave had to work, which meant he wasn't home alot. About 8 years ago we moved again, making our home just across the Columbia River & Portland, Oregon to the great city of Vancouver, WA. Next to the Bay Area in California, there is no greater place to be than the Pacific Northwest. We have three children. They ARE my shining light. As a parent, there is no greater joy than to see life through their eyes. They're all experiencing the different stages of life right now. The oldest is an adult juggling the responsibilities of a start up business. I think he is so brave to do this. I am bursting with PRIDE for him. Our middle daughter is in her sophomore year of college in Arizona, and just started nursing school. It takes a special kind of person to be a nurse, she's definitely it. Our youngest is in her senior year of high school, and is looking forward to the college years at WSU. She's not sure what she wants to pursue. The world is wide open for her. She is so complex, analytical yet creative, two traits that are so counter-intuitive. I couldn't be prouder of them. I have achieved a lot personally & professionally, but they are the best part of me. My family really does keep me going.".
