Michele's Story
Life
After graduating Hen Hud in 1976 I went to Katherine Gibbs in NYC. I graduated there in 1978 with an Associate in Occupational Studies degree. I married Chris Barger in 1983. We are still married. We have two great boys, Justin, 22 and Craig 20. They both graduated Hen Hud. I work with my husband in our family owned business for the past 24 years, Cortlandt Auto Body, in Montrose. We love to travel with my son, Justin, who races Sprint cars for a profession. We travel throughout the United States. He drives a Silver Crown car too. It is alot of fun traveling & seeing the USA. I do alot of praying tho, when he is racing. I would not change anything in my life. I am so happy. I am honestly blessed with a great family. I just adopted a yellow lab puppy. He is adorable. His name is Oakley. My life is complete. I can wait for grandchildren. LOL...Take Care & thanks for stopping by to see how I am doing. Take care.

Update: 2005--Time sure does fly by...it is hard to beleive it has been 29 years that we graduated...I just wanted to wish everyone that reads this much love, light & peace through the rest of their journey here on earth. Remain positive & always SMILE

I just bought a jet ski...am I out of my mind or what! 2008 UPDATE seems time flies again...I just stopped by to say HELLO to all that read my bio. Would love if you left your name so we could possibly chat. I since adopted another yellow lab named Cody. No grandchildren as of yet. Still living in Montrose. Thinking of selling business and properties and moving to North Carolina~~I would LOVE the change

School
Some of my happiest years of my life were with my friends at Hen Hud. High School was a blast, well most of the time. I had some terrific friends. I hope they are all doing well in life now. I think about my friends from time to time with a smile. Wishing everyone that sees this the best of health, happiness & love. Take care. love & light,
2009 UPDATE~~First full day of Autumn~~Summer is behind us...not that there was much of one in NY this year..I love Autumn in NY with the cooler brisk air, the leaves changing color..it is a time to sit back & enjoy life. ho. He is a Pomchi and absolutely adorable. This brings total number of dogs in my household to 3. Chestnut is his name and he is 20 months old. He weighs about 26 lbs, whereas my Labs weigh 165 and 140lbs. It is refreshing to have a little puppy in the house. I am still doing my healing work and enjoying it very much. I am on my spiritual journey and meeting so many people of like mind. We are all light workers here in which we share the light and love to all. College
I went to Katherine Gibbs in Manhattan, an all-girl secretarial school. At first I thought I must be out of my mind, but I adjusted. I made long lasting friendships. Our professor Mr. J was a total blast. He would come out & party with us durning our lunch hour & then teach us in the afternoon. We definately had a blast with him as a teacher.It was definatley an experience to go to NYC every day, the city that never sleeps & always is ready for a party! I definately enjoyed my college years there. It was an incredible journey being there.
Workplace
I worked for Bing & Grondahl, an export & import company from Denmark & Norway as an Executive Secretary to the Vice President of the Company. I have worked with my husband for the past 23 years in our family owned business, Cortland Auto Body & Service, in Montrose. I like being my own boss. I am a certiefied Reikki Practioner, I read auras, tarot cards & work with the energy fields to do healing work. I enjoy my multi-facted life. Life is a gift, enjoy each second of it. As we get older, we learn to value all of life's experiences for the true gift they are. Live your life as if each day was your last. Enjoy each breath you take for it may be your last! Leave a mark of the genuine person you were in your physical form.I have totally enjoyed my life. I hope you have too. We are here on a magical journey to explore, learn and live life to the fullest. As we get older I realize I am not interested in what you do for a living, I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing? It doesn't matter to me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for your adventure for being alive. It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you studied, I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments. Life is about life...take chances, risks, live & most importantly love,,,love yourself for the goddess you are. We all are beautiful spirits that have joined together here for but a short time...let's enjoy life...Perhaps, I'll see you on the other side and we will dance there too...
