Michele's Story

I married my high school sweetheart, Alan Weinel, in 1973. We started our married life in Sacramento, and have lived in the Galt area for the past 20 years. We have three children, a daughter and two sons. Our daughter is married to a German and has lived in Germany for 10 years. She teaches English to adults and has two little boys., ages 5 and 3. I worked for Sac City Unified School District for several years as an assistant in a special ed preschool class. I retired a few years ago and have enjoyed doing volunteer work, traveling to Germany,and participating in a book club and a walking group in my retirement. Alan has worked as a financial analyst for SMUD for the past 20 years. He is looking forward to retiring this December. After his retirement we are looking forward to puttering around the house and traveling in our 5th wheel.
