Michele's Story
Life
(TTHS Class of 1970)
After 1 year studying computer science at Thornton Community College, I got married to Tom Snyder (Class of '68) after he came out of the Navy. Worked at First National Bank, had my first (and only) child, Brandi, divorced, and moved to Chicago's northside in 1977.
I worked for a land developer for 2 years prior, but was then hired as a property manager on the South Shore (old Flamingo Apartments). I continued to manage midrises for 9 years, and then moved to Florida. Missing Chicago, I moved back twice--but ret...Expand for more
urned to Florida to be closer to my daughter and grandsons. My mother passed in 2001, and my father passed in 2007. I miss them so much.
I managed the office of a construction company in Lake Mary, Florida. (3 years) and am now reinventing my job search....
I have 3 grandsons that make life so meaningful. Life is good!, and I may finally get that real vacation in 2011 to France........
It is amazing how fast-pace life has been....and this site has been such an eye-opener....to remind me of all the past relationships I have missed.
